About BBD Bikes

I'm a father and grandfather of mountain bikers with no fear (and no concept of what they put their bikes through).  Because of this, I had to quickly become a competent amateur mechanic.  However, with the chance to devleop my skills through my day job, I have become a Velotech qualified mechanic and Level 2 Mountin Bike Leader.  I live in Kirriemuir, a small Angus town which does not have the infrastructure of bike repairs and maintenance it needs (or that I needed to keep up with the running repairs to my boy's and grandson's bikes).

BBD (Built By Dad) Bikes came about because of this and has allowed me to develop and hone my skills to now offer our services to the wider communities of Angus, Dundee, East Perthshire and the Mearns.

Our mission is a simple one - provide the best service we can for those who need it the most and keep you moving!
